Don’t rent an apartment from Vivir Frente al Mar. Our experience has been nothing but problems. They’re very quick to take your money, but after that, they’re nowhere to be found.
They own the building and about half of the apartments. The residents all talk to each other, and every single one of us has had issues dealing with them.
Save yourself the hassle and rent directly from an owner instead. There are several privately owned apartments in the building, and that’s the better option.
If you’re new to Panama, don’t let anyone convince you to pay more than $2,200/month for even the largest apartment in this building. Anything above that is, in my opinion, overpriced.
They’ll tell you the apartments are renting fast and that you need to decide immediately. Don’t fall for the pressure. There are always units available, the turnover is extremely high.
