Former beef and Peking duck farm on Rio Grande, Natá, Coclé

With a total of 36 hectares of land divided into 3 farms, located in the town of El Otoal, on the road to El Copé, Natá District, Coclé Province, 200 kms from Panama City, with accesses in good condition all year round. At an altitude of 183 meters above sea level, where temperatures vary from 20°C (68 F) to 32°C (90 F). Annual precipitation is estimated at 1500 mm / m2

The location of the farm is in a mountainous rural area with few inhabitants, with no air, visual, or auditory pollution. It is located near (35 min) from the towns of Aguadulce and Penonomé where there are all kinds of shops, entertainment, restaurants, supermarkets, private schools and hospitals

The main farm has 800 linear meters adjacent to the Rio Grande, a mighty river with numerous affluents, clean waters with rapids and buckets, ideal for river rafting and kayaking. There is direct access to two sandy beaches of the river, during the dry season

The project has a furnished Main House, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and dining room. Hot water and fiber optic internet. In addition, two secondary houses for caregivers and service personnel.

The owners had a profitable farm running with breeding, raising, slaughter/process and commercialization of Peking duck with a fixed clientele.

Also they bred over 100 Angus and Brangus Cattle. 

Preparation and sale of silage grass. Machinery, equipment and personnel trained to process 4 cuts of grass a year, and a flat and prepared area of 1200 m2 to store the silage in pile.

Currently the farm is being maintained by two skilled workers.

165 Key Lime trees planted. First harvest projected next year.
