A place where you can realize your dreams of self-sufficient living and perhaps make some income at the same time by selling your produce and offering bed and breakfast. Over 8000 square metres (2 acres) are available for a small homestead or a family compound.

The residential house with an area of 120 m² includes three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a large covered terrace. It can already be lived in but needs some finishes. The main structure is made of concrete blocks and it has been plastered, but would like a coat or two of paint to make it homelier. If necessary, it can be made bigger or some cabins could offer more living space.

Chicken coops and pens for other animals, storage and workrooms of 180 m² and a huge fish pond (200m2 / half an acre) with fresh water from the river have already been built. There are various species of fish (mainly tilapia), chickens, ducks, geese, even a hatchery. The vegetable garden is established, fruit trees have been planted… Nevertheless, there is still a lot of space on 8,096 m² to realize further ideas.

The plot is completely fenced with 2-metre-high strong fences.

The property is easily accessible, as it is located on a little-used tar road, quiet and idyllic on the outskirts of Boquerón a small village with schools and shopping facilities, just a 45 minutes’ drive to David and Volcán - rural, quiet, idyllic, with views of tall old trees and the Rio Chico running along the bottom of the property. Even a small seasonal waterfall brightens up the ducks’ day! The climate at 430 metres above sea level is ideal - not too hot and not too cold.
