Our trip to JW Marriott in Panama has been incredible. We always travel with our family of two young children and JW properties have always been fantastic. However, Panama is setting a new level. They have made the kids feel so at home. Our son has celiac disease and every morning they make him a gluten free breakfast and in the evening the chef takes time to make him gluten free cheese pasta. The hotel has also provided our son and daughter with little gifts (almost daily) and provided us with some excellent adjoining rooms. Overall I cannot say enough good things about the staff and management. Elisa who manages the restaurants deserves a separate call out but everyone is great. Thanks again for making this stay memorable. Dustin - Titanium Elite Member

One of our top restaurants for Sunday brunch. The service is outstanding, the chef is on point with taste. We love the variety of foods/presentation. Unlimited mimosas. They even have ice cream ( I put all kinds of stuff on it), crepes, BBQ. Indoors/ outdoors seating. The duo plays good music; the female singer kills Whitney Houston song/takes requests.

This is an excellent hotel in the JW portfolio. Features outstanding services across the board but the service of the staff in the Executive Lounge is the best ever bar none. On my last day the staff in the lounge presented me with a package of Panamanian coffee to take home. Also mid stay a dozen roses was sent to the room. Each room is well appointed and has a balcony with ocean views. Simply outstanding!

Outstanding customer service from start to finish! I would like to give special recognition to Jesus at the front desk and Anel in the lounge for their exceptional hospitality. Jesus greeted us with a warm smile, was incredibly professional, and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. He took the time to answer our questions and ensured that everything was taken care of throughout our stay. Anel provided equally amazing service in the lounge. He was attentive, friendly, and always made us feel comfortable and valued. His positive attitude, genuine kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out and made every visit to the lounge a pleasure. This property is simply one of the best in the world. The breathtaking views overlooking both the ocean and the beautiful Panama City skyline are absolutely unforgettable. Whether during the day or at night, the scenery is spectacular and creates an incredible atmosphere that makes the stay even more special. It’s team members like Jesus and Anel who turn a great hotel into an exceptional one. Their dedication to guest satisfaction, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond exceeded all expectations. Thank you for making our visit memorable. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Panama. Five stars all the way!

Overall, the property is beautiful and has a very Dubai/Miami look to it. The infinity pool is immaculate, and the views are very nice of the Pacific Ocean. Where the property falls short is the level of quality that you would expect from a JW brand hotel. The room includes a mini bar with prices that you would expect in Las Vegas or Los Angeles. As a Marriott platinum member you get access to the executive lounge level, which includes breakfast that was pretty decent, but only runs for about two hours. In the meantime, between the breakfast and evening food options, there is nothing but chips and a few apples and banana bananas. There are no snack options throughout the day or after the evening meal serving until they close. Every other Marriott lounge I’ve ever been in offers late night snacks and sweets after the dinner serving until closing. Beyond those short falls, the largest, and most obvious complaint is that there are no alcoholic beverages included throughout any point of your stay or visits to the executive lounge. No beer or wine just a menu with options that range from $10 and up for a simple glass of basic Malbec. No local beers or alcohol included. This by far makes it the worst Lounge experience I have ever seen at any Marriott property. The welcome gift for platinum status was nice but the cheese and crackers were very stale and almost inedible. There was also a robe and slippers but the slippers seemed to be used already and did not have plastic over them like you usually find at all hotels. The restaurant offerings on site are very good though just quite pricey compared to local spots in the city. For the overall price of this property, I would recommend staying at another location more central in the city.
